Greetings from Sunny Afghanistan

Well, tomorrow my company will embark on an overcrowded jet plane headed for the shit can of the world, on not just the shit can of the world, the shittiest part of the shit can of the world, namely Helmond province, Afghanistan, where 40% of the world's poppy plants are grown. In any case, this means I'm going to be out of touch for quite a while, about seven months to be exact. During this time I will be staying in an incredibly primitive F.O.B. and enjoying the Rainy season, which means that, apart of the freezing temperatures, its going to monsone all the time, fun times.

Nevertheless, the fact that maybe, just maybe, I will have the chance to impact the shattered world of the middle east is reason enough to keep fighting, that and the guy next to you. this will also mean that no one will ever be able to say "you weren't there so you don't know" argument when engaged in a political debate.

Finally, if you don't hear from me by, lets say, August, it probably means I'm dead somewhere in a ditch in Afghan, so that means its up to you guys to carry on the fight for common sense and conservatism on this sight (and for all you liberals doing happy jacks in the background, ill be sure to come back and haunt your ass).

on your novel, it would be entirely possible for me to create art pieces for it, however, certain factors need to be considered, the first and foremost of which is the fact that on November 15 I'm getting sent to sunny afghanistan for seven months, and for the 15 days preceding that I'll be on pre deployment leave, most of which will be spent in a perpetual drunken stupor. This means that your work will have to be done before November 1st, or seven months from now, so it all depends on your time table. If you are still interested send me some information on your novel and I can see what I can do.

This is perfect, man. My time table is practicly nonexistant, since the novel won't be completed for a while. I'll send you all I can for the novel. All I need is combat armor, power armor, a few weapons (assault rifle, sniper rifle, sword, ect.), and the enemy, Extraterrestrial Machines, or EMs as they're known as. For the EMs, I need regular infantry, shock troopers, and plasma based weapons. I hope that's not too much to ask, man. I can recieve art whenever I can. And I salute you for fighting for our country. You're a brave, brave dude.

Alright, I will send you what I have for the ELC forces, both factions. But, if it's alright, could you send me your e-mail adress, since I can't really upload all the information you'd need for the art. And you can choose what the EM's look like, since I can't really imagine what or how they'd look in battle. I couldn't discribe them from the top of my head, so you can do what ever you want with them. I give you free reign. All I can think up is that they use plasma weaponry, and either Long range or Short range weaponry, no mid range. It's either swords, knives, and fists, or heavy rifles, explosives, and artillery. Humans use projectiles, and electro-magnetic kenetic energy. Using long, mid, or short range weaponry, they also resorted to using swords and knives in close range, not daring to use their fists. I'll send any and all other information to you, as soon as I can either contact you by e-mail, or by some other method.
